Start: Millennium Bridge at 9.15 for the CTC Lancaster and South Lakes annual Freewheeling World Championships.
Route: Riverside path, Crook of Lune, Halton Park, a bleak and deserted hillside near Aughton for the main event, Gressingham, Arkholme, Docker Park, Capernwray.

The Club now expects riders to have their emergency contact information (ICE) with them when on rides.
Sunday and Thursday Rides are now planned almost until the end of November, and are on the diary, but only three rides for December, including the ride to the Thursday Riders Christmas meal at Knott End on the 12th. Volunteers to lead from December onwards are encouraged and welcomed. Dates can now be included into 2025. If you write a Ride Report please mention “Lancaster and South Lakes Cycle Touring Club” at the beginning and end with “Anyone who is interested in joining us can find information about our regular club rides on Thursdays and Sundays on our website: www.ctclancaster.org.uk.” Send a copy to Neil Westwell who will put it on the webpage and Steve Bateman who send it to the Lancaster ‘Guardian’ and Morecambe ‘Visitor’. Anyone can post their ride reports and photos on the Group Facebook page - once they’ve joined it.
