Start: Millennium Bridge at 9.15GMT ( Don’t forget, clocks go back 1 hr)

Alternative Start: Stork Hotel, Conder Green at 9.45am ( to avoid cycle path)

Coffee: Applestore, Scorton (via Lune Cycle Track and Conder Green)

Lunch: Dunsop Bridge ( with Excursion up Brennand Valley)

45 miles with moderate climbs (oh good! ed.)

START 2: Brief Encounter, Carnforth after Coffee at 10.15 - 10.30

Coffee: Brief Encounter at Carnforth Railway Station

Lunch: Arnside Bob-In or pub. (Via RSPB, Thrang End, Slack Head, Sandside)

Afternoon Tea: Brief Encounter or Bay View (Via Silverdale, Crag Foot, Carnforth)

Start: Carnforth War Memorial at 9.15

Coffee: Bridge House at Wray

Lunch: Inglesport in Ingleton ( via Wennington and Low Bentham )

Return via High Bentham, Wennington, Hornby.

Lead by our Club President, Dave Hugill.

Traditionally, our Honorary Club President has led a President’s Ride once every year, however, since Covid, this has not been maintained, let’s hope this, once again, can become a regular feature.

Lunch: Dungeon Ghyll, Great Langdale

Ice Cream (Afternoon tea) Hawkshead

Directions to start: Take A590 from Levens. Past Newby Bridge, after 3 miles look out for sign to Grizedale, Rusland, Bouth. Right here then immediately right again onto dead end road with plenty of parking on roadside.

Thursday Ride: Car Assisted from Kirkby Lonsdale to Sedbergh OR One stop easy ride for coffee to Bridge House Tearooms, Wray.

Start: Devil’s Bridge lower car park in Kirkby Lonsdale at 9.45 am.

Coffee: From Catering Van at Devil’s Bridge at start.

Lunch: Sedbergh, then return to KL via Howgill

Afternoon Ice Cream: Milking Parlour in KL ( compliments of leader for ride completions ).

Directions to start point parking: From A65 through Kirkby Lonsdale, take turn to Sedbergh/Casterton, car park is first on right opposite Devil’s Bridge.
